Precautions for Eyelash Extensions

Please make sure you read the following safety measures thoroughly, to ensure safe application of eyelash extensions.
We do not administer any refunds after the procedure is finished.

Adhesives

Low stimulating adhesives meeting safety standards are used as bonding agents.
Rare allergic reactions may occur due to poor physical conditions or weakened immunity.
For your safety, we decline to apply extensions in such cases.
Adhesives will never get in contact with your eyes, but eyes may become sensitive from proximity.

Clients

You must be 16 years old and over.
It is up to our discretion to decline service if medical problems seem to be evident near and around the eyes or the immediate eye area, have inverted eyelashes or have extremely damaged eyelashes.

When you visit our salons

Do not use eyelash curler, mascara or other cosmetics around the eye area, as oily residue in you lashes will rapidly loosen the extension adhesives. Do not use oil-based makeup around the eye area. You will be asked to remove such makeup before the procedure for a better application.
Please inform us if you are wearing contact lenses. You can wear your soft lenses but oxygen permeable hard lenses mush be taken off. Please bring your lens-case along with you.

Application

Do not open your eyes during the procedure.
Let the eyelist know immediately should you need to cough or sneeze.

Life cycles

Eyelash extensions are applied onto your natural eyelashes (about 1mm from each root) and not to the eyelids.
The finished look will differ by the length, thickness, design, curvature, and the number of lash extensions applied.
The conditions of your natural lashes will determine the number of extensions and designs.
The Eyelists will recommend the design best suited for you, taking into consideration your eye shape and your preference. Any look can be created each time, be it a natural enhancement or gorgeous drama lashes.

Eyelash extensions will last for 2 to 6 weeks depending on the life cycle of your natural lashes and other factors.
When the eyelashes naturally shed, the extensions will shed with them.
The life cycle of the eyelashes have 3 to 4 months of generation period, growth period, and aging period, along with the resting period. The growth period is about one month.

Eyelash extensions will last longer if you:
Do not wash face, shower, swim, or touch the lashes until the adhesive dries completely, for at least 6 hours after the procedure.

Do not rub your eye area horizontally.
Do not rub your eye area vigorously when washing your face.

Do not use oil-based cleansing products, which will loosen the extensions.
Do not sleep with your face lying down.
Do not pull the lashes (your natural lashes will shed with them).
Do not use mascara not formulated for use with extensions.
Do not use eyelash curlers.
Be careful of lashes getting caught in the fibers of the cotton balls and towels.
Use hair-drier on the cold settings to dry your eye area after a bath or shower.

For your safety

Please contact our salon immediately if rare case of itchiness, pain, or any discomfort around the eye area occurs after the procedure.
Please inform us beforehand of any allergies or prevailing dermal trouble, or if you may be allergic to any adhesives or the removers.

Our salons will not be held responsible for any skin trouble if no notice is given beforehand.

We will remove the extensions, free of charge, in case an allergic reaction occurs, but will not refund the service charge.
